DASL consists of 30 teams split into three divisions.  The teams come from one of 4 clubs within the league.  While this is a recreational league; the A Division is the most competitive; B and C are less a little less competitive.

To be eligible to play men must be at least 30 years old; women must be at least 25.

Teams create their individual rosters and may have up to 25 players at any time within the season.  All teams must have at least 7 women on their roster to be eligible to play.

All games are played on Sunday mornings at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM at one of the local city fields.  There are two 12 game sessions per year.  The spring session begins in March and ends in June; the fall session begins in September and ends in December.

Because this is a recreational league most teams do not practice during the week.
